What will you do as a Trainee Trader?
The world is your playing field. As a trader, you are an entrepreneur within Kühne + Heitz and responsible for closing contracts worldwide. You negotiate daily with multiple parties at the same time and continuously respond to market developments, price differences and exchange rate fluctuations.
You work closely with fellow traders and our professional logistics team, which supports the operational handling. You remain ultimately responsible for your deals, from negotiation to completion. Dynamics, speed and commercial insight are central. No day is the same!

The Traineeship

During this intensive 12-month traineeship, you will get to know all aspects of international trade. Your goal? To grow into an independent trader with your own market or product group.

• You will learn everything about purchasing, sales and export;
• You will gain experience in the logistics department to understand processes, transport and documentation;
• You will work on generating new leads and expanding markets;
• You will build your own client portfolio and international network;
• You will quickly be given responsibility and the space to take initiative.
• You start under the guidance of experienced traders, but soon you independently close successful deals and possibly visit your clients within and outside Europe.
