This is your challenge as a trader in Europe at Kühne + Heitz :

As a trader Europe, you will be responsible for selling meat, poultry, fish, vegetables and/or dairy to existing and new customers, such as wholesalers, distributors, cash-and-carry’s and catering in the sales area Europe.

You deal with:

  • Relationship management and expanding sales with existing and new products with customers.
  • Maintain intensive telephone and personal contacts with your clients.
    For this you will travel about 4-5 weeks per year and visit important trade fairs.
  • Stay ‘on top’ of market changes and development to keep ahead of the supply and demand game. Both in terms of buying and selling.
  • Develop new marketing channels. By developing new product-market combinations.

You possess:

  • Minimum college work and thinking level, for example gained through a commercial or
  • business education.
  • You are entrepreneurial, commercial, decisive and decisive.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both oral and written.
    Speaking additional languages will certainly come in handy.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Up to about 5 years experience as a trader, account manager, sales manager.
    Experience with food is a plus.
